Mary Summer Rain, naturalist philosopher and prolific writer, has touched generations of readers throughout her long career. She is best known for her lyrical style and unique talent for bringing clarity to complex subject matters. Spanning decades, her insightful writings on nature, future predictions, feminine spirituality, and dream symbolism continue to inspire readers from all walks of life. She was featured on the first NBC television special Ancient Prophecies and her novel Ruby was a finalist for the New Age Retailers 2005 Narcissus Award.
Mary lives with her long-time companion in the high Rocky Mountains. After being burned out of their house in 2005, they worked to make it a home again. Currently their woodland cabin is shared with two puppy mill rescue dogs, a Siberian Husky, and Merlin the crow that Mary saved after a hawk dropped the featherless nestling by her garden gate.
Surrounded by the forests which provide so much of her inspiration, she spends contemplative time in the woods, is an avid reader, makes scented candles, and is currently working on a new literary project.
